The Solemnity of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is on Saturday, August 15th.  Since it’s on a Saturday this year, it is a not a Holy Day of Obligation.The 8 AM Mass on Saturday, August 15th, will be for the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
